New Orleans Food Rescue Coalition
NOFRC is a New Orleans coalition that moves good surplus food to the people and places that can use it — the same day, wherever possible.
What we do
We keep a free, public map of food pantries, community fridges, meal sites and other neighborhood resources; we take surplus food from businesses, farms and events; and we organise volunteers who carry it to the organizations serving our neighbors.

How to take part
Anyone can look up food without an account. Volunteers claim pickups, businesses post surplus food, and organizations join as partners to receive food or help transport it.
